I still remember the day when I was diagnosed with Brain TB and gained a lot of weight. I used to cry on a daily basis and ask God, "Why did You do this to me?" People used to come and say whatever they felt about my body, and it bothered me a lot, which doubled my pain as a patient. Finally, after many years, I am proud of myself for not caring about anyone else's opinions and realizing that it is my journey, not theirs.
People only speak for the sake of speaking without having empathy or sympathy for others.
Finally, I am off medications and working on my body. If you know someone who is overcoming life's struggles, be sure to tell them, "I am proud of you" when you meet them next time, and "this time will pass too." Encourage them to stay strong and remind them how beautiful the world can be, rather than boasting about what you do or who you are. Instead, extend a helping hand.
Fellow strugglers, I am proud of you 👍
