In March of 2014, Funkadelphia released its debut compilation, "It's Always Sunny In Funkadelphia", as a free download. featuring 19 exclusive tracks (17 from Philadelphia-based artists).

Funkadelphia Recordings was then founded in January of 2015 to serve as a digital label for all future Funka
delphia releases. The label is home to the free Funkadelphia compilation series, as well as solo releases from Funkadelphia affiliated artists. Funkadelphia Recordings was launched with its first official release, and second release in Funkadelphia's free compilation series, "Pulp FUNKtion", which once again features 16 never before released, exclusive tracks from various up and coming artists. Together Funkadelphia & Funkadelphia Recordings strive to maintain a thoughtful perspective on music, and art in general.
