Praying for our friends and colleagues in Ukraine. 🥺🙏
ADVICE FOR TRAVELLERS STRANDED IN UKRAINE. With the launch of military action by Russia on Ukraine and the declaration of Martial Law in Ukraine, commercial routes out of Ukraine are likely to be severely disrupted. Ukrainian airspace is closed.
❗️The advice for any foreign travellers is to leave Ukraine immediately if it's safe to do so.
❗️You should follow the advice of Ukrainian authorities while you remain in Ukraine.
❗️If you are in the vicinity of military activity and you cannot leave safely, you should stay indoors, away from windows, and remain alert to developments that would allow you to leave safely.
❗️Follow your government's advice on their official website and throughout their social media. There might be measures in place like registering your presence in Ukraine and subscription to email alerts.
❗️Prepare your travel documents and keep them with you at all times.
❗️Prepare for travel: withdraw cash, prepare food and water, charge your phone and power banks, write down emergency phone numbers, including contacts to your embassy or a consulate in Ukraine, download maps of Ukraine and neighbouring countries to be used offline, refuel your car.
❗️Before you travel inside Ukraine, you should check local measures in place under Ukraine’s State of Emergency, that roads are open and, where appropriate, that scheduled train and bus services are operating before you travel.
❗️Your government's ability to provide consular assistance in Ukraine can be affected.
