For nearly 20 years tuners & racers alike have been racing on a circular highway system known as the "Kanjo Highway". At night these racers weave in and out of built up traffic at neck breaking speeds in their modified Honda civics. This highly illegal form of street racing is banned in Japan. However, the police still haven't found a way to impede on these racers. We must first delve a little int

o the history of the Kanjo. During the 80s and 90s Kanjo racers known as Kanjozoku took similar setups from Japanese circuit racing. Since then the Kanjozoku have perfected the tuning on their civics to strike the perfect balance between power and handling on the Kanjo Highway. Many of the newer racers still stick to the culture and heritage of their "senpai" (Japanese word meaning older brother) still to this day.
