🔥 Finnish Occult Heavy Metallers BYRON Unveil Full Album Details and Release New Single 🔥

A band called BYRON is delighted to reveal highly anticipated information about their forthcoming album, "Chapter II: The Lotus Covenant." This much-awaited release is set to hit the shelves on January 26th, 2024, released by The Goatmancer Records.

Says the band:
"The X is the third and final single taken from the upcoming full-length "Chapter II - The Lotus Covenant". It introduces Byron's new members Ville Koskinen (Psychework) on guitar and Tino Kantoluoto (Weightless World) on bass.

With the lyrics I experimented something called automatic writing and I wrote them rawly in 20 minutes. The results are somewhat a stream of consciousness, flowing in themes of the ancient and the occult. The song title does NOT refer to any message service but is an allegory of destinations and waypoints in spiritual development, the x's and pins one might find in maps or graphic illustrations of life lived. Karma, if you will. An educated listener can hear again some Stephen King -references in the lyrics too.

The song itself started as some kind of a trash metal imitation and even after a lot of changes when I recorded the drums I was not sure if it will make to the record. But when the rest of the band did their share, the song really came to life. I think it turned out quite nice. I feel so privileged to work with such crazy-talented people!"

Finnish heavy metal band BYRON, which mixes its eclectic sound from NWOBHM to doom metal and back again to occult rock, was formed in 2019 and consists of long-term, competent musicians whose history lies in doom and black metal, as in hard rock and other styles of metal. BYRON currently released the full length "The Omega Evangelion" (2021) and the song "Sometimes Dead Is Better" (January 2023).

"'Resignation' is the second single from Byron's forthcoming second album" says drummer and songwriter Johannes. "It is probably the angriest song I have made for the band so far, and a big personal middle finger to all politicians and priests who talk pretty words and act like the pathetic c***s they are inside. The perfect song for a sunny summer evening, that is!"

He continues "Religion has been a great motivator for discrimination, hate and aggression throughout human history and we still see religiously motivated political decisions being made in civilized countries.

We need to believe and actively participate in building a society without superstitions and focus on a better tomorrow with equality, compassion, reason, justice and empathy towards one another."

In the words of Denis Diderot: "Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest".

Their sophomore album, still untitled, will be released by THE GOATMANCER Records during 2023.

🔥⚡ Italian Thrash Metal force Mass Crysis sign with THE GOATMANCER Records ⚡🔥

Says the band: “We are incredibly excited to work with The Goatmancer Records, a new era is coming soon and we want give our contribute with our new work, a piece of art coming from our metal souls! We are thrilled to release this blend of fu***ng aggressive and sweet songs. After times of troubles we are ready and strong more than ever! Rely on us.”

The Mass Crysis project is born in 2011 with the aim to be a band with deep roots in the Thrash Metal field.

In 2012 the band hits the stage, opening shows for established bands like Satanika, Sofisticator and Bloodtruth in local metal festival.
At the end of 2012 the band releases its first recording and publishes the demo “Die Totale”, containing 4 new songs, that will receive good reviews among public and professionals.

2013 is the year of the first International Tour. Mass Crysis are invited to share the stage, opening the act, for Neurasthenia during their East European Tour through Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Macedon, for a total of 3000 km on the road.

In 2015 as the result of the exit of 3 out of 4 members of the band for personal reasons, Jeffckott, Mass Crysis’ frontman and singer, decides to take control, embracing the guitar and looking for new musicians.
Mass Crysis must not die.

After 2 years Mass Crysis project comes back to life. Jeffckott at the voice and leading guitar, Lorenzo Rocchi at the drums, Nicola Lemmi at the bass.

With brand new songs and a deep understanding that goes beyond the “playing together in a band” they take Mass Crysis back to the scene, performing in several metal music underground festival, sharing the stage with well-known bands like RedRiot, Reverber, Nanowar of Steel.

After a work of 2 years, they are ready to take the scene with a new LP containing 9 brand new songs elaborated before, through and after the pandemic period.
In 2022 they were chosen to compose the official Hymn of Rock Riders FMI Bikers, released to the public in May, during the Rock Biker Motorparty.

After some live shows to improve the affinity and feel the audience reactions they are selected to join the semifinal of “Agglutination Metal Festival” at the Sheratan Club in Carpi (MO) where they are ranked in a flattering third position.

The new album is scheduled to be released by THE GOATMANCER Records soon in 2023, more news to follow.

The Finnish heavy metal band, which mixes its eclectic sound from NWOBHM to doom metal and back again to occult rock and doom, was formed in 2019 and consists of long-term, competent musicians whose history lies in doom and black metal, as in hard rock and other styles of metal.

Once again moving thematically in Stephen King's realms, based on the "Pet Sematary" novel (or - to be precise - the 2019 movie remake), the band's sound steps deeper in black waters of melodic doom, not forgetting the rolling Byronic metal.

"Grief. Loss. Insanity. Those were the themes I needed to deal in composing this song" Says Johannes Lahti "December 2nd 2022 marked the first anniversary of my father's sudden death, and few days later, Dec 6th has been a year since Johanna's father passed away. Both were unexpected deaths and we've had to deal some heavy personal feelings of losing someone very close.

Life is fragile, and sorrow of loss can make you question your sanity, as in the Stephen King's novel. But in the end, it's selfish to wish someone come back to life. Death finishes a lifespan and completes one's story of life, growing into a loving memory at best. In this way, sometimes dead is better."
