Well, here we go again…

So, 2024 has kicked off with a sh*t-bang for me. I am currently one week into unemployment after being made redundant from my full time day job, but thank god I have a part time pub job because, although it doesn’t provide close to enough, my situation could be a lot-lot worse.

The reason given for the redundancy was the need for “business restructure”

Are you between 18 -24? Do you have any experience/interest in joinery and printmaking?
Supporting our wood and print workshops based at Seagulls Lifehouse. The post holder will specifically be involved in supporting the production and design of products and supporting the workshop manager in delivering print and metal workshops.
We are looking for a candidate who is naturally inquisitive and enthusiastic about learning.
We are not looking for a superwoman/man, we are keen to give someone the opportunity to grow and learn.
The role is funded through the Governments Kickstarter scheme and is a 6-month paid placement (unfortunately no guarantee of a job at the end of the placement)

Hey folks - we're back!! Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine.☀️
For some time now we've been slowly developing our 'Wellbeing' offerings and thought it was about time we shouted about the new mindfulness services we now have available.

The health of the planet is closely linked to our own health and wellbeing so if you care about the earth it's worth remembering to care about yourself too! We are currently offering our 'Well-being in Nature Walks' on a pay as you feel basis every Wednesday afternoon or you can book a 1-1 walk at a time convenient to you.

For those of you further afield how about a bit of mindfulness via zoom? Jac has been testing out a 'Mindful Living Group' since earlier this year and we've been told it's like a "Virtual Hug" 💕 Meeting every Thursday evening, with no regular commitment required, it's a lovely way to add a little pause to your week.
