It has been a bit of a quiet first half to 2023 for myself, having not been at the race track yet. However, thankful to have at least photographed my other love besides motorsport, that being fighter jets. Here are some of my favourites of the beloved F/A-18F at Amberley in February and the F-35 at Richmond last month.
Now we turn to this weekend with the Shannons Trophy Series at SMP. Looking forward to finally getting trackside again.

It's now the last day of 2022, therefore we look back on the events that made up a significant year for Nicole Angeline Media.
Nine events over nine months.
New memories and experiences.
The start of a new chapter.
Reflecting back on the year, it was definitely one I will not forget. To say I am proud of myself for what I have achieved, would be an understatement. I must say a massive thank you for all the support, both at the track and away from the track.
Now we look to 2023 and what I hope is to be another big year!

Just a bit close there... No such thing as an easy going lap. Using much of the limits possible as seen here with Kody Garland Racing after going through the fast-paced turn 2 at Bathurst.

If you had asked my younger self whether I would see Ford v Holden in Supercars officially over, I probably would have said never. It's a rivalry I was introduced to as a kid and grew to love since. It may have come to an end; but the memories of the close racing and fans of opposing sides coming together at tracks like Bathurst while wholeheartedly cheering on their favourite teams and cars, will always be remembered.
Bring on a new chapter in 2023! Is it too soon to ask when racing will be back though?

While everyone is in Adelaide today finishing up their 2022 seasons, I thought I may as well quickly go back to the day my season came to a close. What a day that was!
Nearly a month on but still want to wish Tony D'Alberto and Wall Racing a massive congratulations on the year had to get that long-awaited first TCR Australia championship win!! A great deal of hard work with numerous ups and downs along the way, including throughout the duration of the first two seasons; but a much deserved win by the end of season three.

As a last post before this weekend's fun, let's go back to my last attended SpeedSeries event; a very eventful one to say the least. Right spot, right time for the turn one chaos during the first Trans Am Australia race.
I think I would be right in saying who knows what will happen this time... It is Bathurst we are talking about.

I don't think any of the drivers will be wanting to repeat Luke King Racing’s corner efforts around the mountain... 😬 At least the walls at QR are still a fair way back behind the gravel; but Bathurst, that's a different story. Unless you were at the chase, it might work, not that I would suggest it 😅

Unfortunately, no night racing this time around and
perhaps a minimal amount of sunset during track
action. That being said, with a track like Bathurst, it
brings their own picturesque landscape.

We have finally reached the seven days leading up to the inaugural Bathurst International; officially!!
Some of the categories listed have already hit the mountain early in the year. Now they are back again, ready to roar in what will be their last outing for 2022 and what a place to finish at!

Can always count on the HQ’s to provide many battle packs and sometimes, the occasional incidents whether they be standalone or in a group. Their racing will always be exciting either way.

Plenty of open wheelers featuring on track; both old and new. Hard to know where to look during the final New South Wales Motor Racing Championships round.

Celebrating 1000 races for a much loved team in the field; the crowd saw a special livery from 1998, a race of significance.
After an early off, a great comeback was happening for the Davison brothers, until the events of 1998 seemed to bite back with the pair unfortunately retiring due to a crash in the back end of the race.

Numerous downpours filled the mountain for most of race week; but the weather gods in the end decided to give us campers a nice view while packing got underway.

Bit of a race day wrap up.
Lots of unpacking from a long week on the mountain in both the sun and mud. Took most of the week to finally touch the weekend’s photos so here we go.

Today was an interesting day weather wise. Random light downpours; and well, extremely low, fast moving cloud cover, to the point the corner, big screen, boardwalk, and pits could not be seen.
