Native-born Irishmen John Connolly & Ted McHugh, the hosts of “Echo’s of Ireland”, have what it takes to take you to the Emerald Isle every Sunday on WCWA 1230 AM Radio also WIOT 104.7 HD2 Toledo from 11:30 AM – 1:30PM. They make you feel like your sitting by a warm turf fire on a cold winter night listening to a rousing sing along, and the best of traditional Irish (Celtic) music. It’s a show a f

John Connolly hails from County Limerick, Ireland, and has performed with the Emerald Isle’s most famous musical groups. His background as a broadcast host includes 50,000 watt WLAC in Nashville TN. where he has recorded with his band, “John Connolly & Company.”

Ted McHugh was born in the village of Headford, County Galway. He spent all of his years in education both in Ireland and the USA. He was a Political Science Professor and an Administrator at The University of Toledo for over twenty years, where he recently retired. They are complete opposites in every phase of life, however, as a team they make the show what it really is… brilliant.
