With a growing population of aliterate Americans — those who can read but choose not to — Edify is an online community developed to encourage curiosity and a continual pursuit of knowledge. The foundation of the community is the site’s Thought Leaders, who are influencers and experts in fields ranging from finance to health and wellness. Each of these Thought Leaders posts what books they are curr
ently reading, providing a look at how they choose to educate themselves. They will also select books they deem essential to their career, as well as their all-time favorites. This allows users to see what their role models are reading, or which books are deemed a career essential by the most successful people within that field.
