Hey there everyone! We have been a bit silent and trying to keep up with our socials during this busy summer time (home projects mainly and vacation), but we are still here!

We are super excited to announce that we are very close to relaunching our website and our podcast! It has been weird for sure not being with our listeners each week, but we are ready to get back it! We are putting some episodes together, scheduling some upcoming guests and writing some blogs posts all in preparation for the relaunch!

Get ready, Anilujah returns on August 16th!!!!!

When bad is called good and good is called bad. You probably have heard this phrase roaming around pulpits or even on different YouTube channels when people are describing the state of the world. I won’t argue that our world is in bad shape morally speaking. How did we come to this?

Simply put, individually and nationally we have turned our backs on God. I don’t say this to be doom and gloom, but I do want to bring to the attention that there is a shift when Gods’ hand is over a nation vs. when he has lifted His hand of protection.

In Tennessee where we live, our governor has called the state to pray for the next 30 days for God to have His hand over the nation and to bring back us back to Him. We encourage those of you who are believers to join in the next 30 days to pray with us as we seek God and have a pouring out of His spirit.

We are hard at work getting our NEW website up and running. We have somewhat reengineered everything! A new blog is being created and will have some great posts coming out on that front once the website launches! We want this to be a place where you can access all our content in one place! Also, we are playing with a new tagline!

Summertime is here and that means it is time for fun in the sun and honestly time for a bit of break. Rebecca and I (Josh) love doing the podcast each week and the conversations we get to have with each other and all of you!

Though we need a bit of a recharge and some changes coming to the podcast. The past few months, we have hinted in our stories about a new look and some expansion of our podcast, and we wanted to share a bit more info about this change/expansion via a few bullet points.

-Expansion of different topics

Our podcast has always been about relating animated movies and TV shows to biblical analogies and virtues. We will still be doing this on a regular basis but wanted to expand this to other avenues such as fandoms, gaming and other general geekery.

-NEW Website (coming soon)!

The website has taken a backseat as we have mostly focused podcast content and bumping up interaction on our socials. Our new website will serve as one stop where you can view all of our video and audio versions of our podcast without having to go to different platforms/apps.

-New Look

Another thing is the look of our podcast. This will only impact the art and look of the website and podcast album art (for now) of Anilujah. We have wanted to do a neon theme since the early days, but have gone in different creative directions. You may have noticed this change come to our YouTube channel and page.

We are really excited about these changes/expansions, though our message will still remain the same. We will still regularly post on our socials during this break from our podcast and will be back for this new chapter of the Anilujah! The podcast will return in August of 2024!

Kate is a talented vocalist, worship leader and creative in the Nashville area she is a Pittsburgh native, but her love for music brought her down to land known as "Music City"! This Friday, we will be taking a break from our normal podcast schedule to bring your one of our first of (we hope) many installments of our gameplay videos! This is something we are really excited to share with you. So in true fashion Becca agreed to play a chapter from the the game The Last of Us.
