When the Columbus City Council begins to prepare the annual capital improvements budget and capital improvements plan, they often seek the advice of local area commissioners to provide insight on which investments residents may want to see in their communities.

While the city council has yet to begin discussions on the capital improvements budget and capital improvements plan, some members of the Greater Hilltop Area Commissions already have a few infrastructure investments in mind.

For two hours, more than two dozen area businesses, churches, civic associations and organizations passed out candy to hundreds of costumed children who came to the event in search of a fun and safe place to celebrate the holiday.
