Today makes 6 months alcohol free! 🤩🎉 I’m SO proud of me. Although I’ve never really been a “drinker”, I’ve always been an avid champagne & wine connoisseur and decided earlier this year that it was time for a well needed drink. The last 6 months, I’ve done SO MANY great things:

🤩 Successfully completed hard 75 (which is what started this whole thing)
💐Planned almost an entire wedding & did the arrangements and rehearsal dinner decor
🎉 Attended + enjoyed birthday parties, weddings & vacation all without an ounce of alcohol
💕 Made Londyns activities daily & was able to watch her flourish. Truly the best part 🥹
.and so many other things. 75 hard might’ve kick started this new “change” for me, and even though I wasn’t planning on being alcohol free- I’m so happy I did it. I truly am loving this life & can’t wait to keep going, so a (non-alcoholic) cheers to me! 🥂💕🫶🏽

This past week was 🤍 Growing & birthing a human is a tiny miracle that is such a blessing. Our own birthing story was nothing like we expected it to, and I can honestly say that we were very fortunate to have the amazing medical staff that we did. But sometimes, especially being a woman of color, that doesn’t happen. So many go through such traumatic times during pregnancy, delivery + postpartum and it’s not talked about enough. That’s it…that’s the post 🤍

This past Sunday marked 90 days alcohol free 🥂When I started 75 hard-ish in January, I didn’t know that I would be entering a new chapter of not drinking anymore, but here I am 🙃

Saying I’m “sober” sounds weird because that automatically puts an assumption in peoples head that prior to you drank a lot. I didn’t- I’ve never been a hard liquor drinker but I’ve always loved wine + champagne. LOVED. In December of last year, i stoped drinking it for 2 weeks and I decided after to do 75 hard. Since starting 75 hard-ish I’ve felt sooo good without alcohol that I’ve decided to continue not drinking. Idk for how long and I’m not going to say forever because that sounds too serious, but for now at least. So, cheers to 90 days or whatever 🫶🏽🤍

P.S.- that’s non-alcoholic champs in my glass…to celebrate 🎉
