We want to give a BIG shout out to 🏁 for his work on our new and official logo + symbol. If you aren’t familiar with Jorge’s work we highly recommend you do. His catalog speaks for itself from iconic logos, to branding and photography. “When I started the design process I knew I wanted to remain close to our OG logo but take it a step further. After getting Jorge’s first drafts I got inspired to take that step with a symbol that would represent us well. Something that would represent rhythm specifically using the roots. The drum. Being of West African descent the choice was easy and I went with one of my favorite and in my opinion more underrated drums the ‘Dun Dun’. Going with a minimal feel executed it perfectly. For us the symbol represents our dedication to honoring the roots of not only music but communication. The drum is far more than a musical instrument, it’s a communication tool that connects with the human race globally. We look forward to closing out this yr with some new records under this new banner and have a lot planned for the upcoming seasons.”
