VASFilm: Virginia Student Film Festival Film On A Shoestring Students can submit their films into 1 of 4 genres: narrative, documentary, experimental, and music video.

The Virginia Student Film Festival, March 18 - 19, is a competitive festival open to undergraduate students enrolled in any university in the United States. Each genre is evaluated by our panel of judges that have extensive experience in the film and television industry. Previous judges have included Mark Johnson, Producer of Rain Man and The Chronicles of Narnia, Barry Sisson, head of Cavalier Fi

lms, Jeff Wadlow, Director of Never Back Down, and many others. The winning films will premiere on the big screen in Newcomb Theater at the University of Virginia. Prepare yourself for the two days of student and local films, panels, and parties that celebrate the art of filmmaking - student-style.
