The track is named after and features Mike Grubert who’s involvement in this studio project of Chris Massey’s has been immeasurable. From guidance on lyrics, guitar lessons, structure and also playing incredible guitar on a number of the tracks, Mike has been amazing! 🎸 👏 ❤️
This track originally had beats and a thumping kick behind it but it just wasn’t working so last minute it was stripped right back to just be washes of pure emotion which has had a fair few responses from people comparing it to something that Andrew Weatherall would have cooked up! ⚔️ ⚔️ ⚔️

Imposter Syndrome is the first single from the upcoming album and is a hypnotic & endearing electronical trip into the mind of perceived fraudulence. Ghostly synth sounds wrap around a hooky guitar line and reverb soaked percussion all in the mix with a truly stunning guest vocal from singer songwriter Bay Bryan and a lead vocal by Massey giving an honest, poetic yet psychedelic account into a mindset of fear, anxiety & questions of self belief.

It’s all aboard the Zen-Express for this release that incorporates the musical & cultural influences this French born (but now Hebden Bridge based) DJ and music producer has experienced so far on her journey.
4 sublime tracks on 12" vinyl featuring a screen printed sleeve of artwork by Hebden Bridge artist Luke Martin.
Each vinyl is individually numbered and has hand stamped centres along with an original photograph insert by Manchester based photographer Coralie Monnet as chosen personally by Léna herself.
