KapitBahay started out as a project by three schoolmates from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. Their debut EP KPTBHY showcases an eclectic set of songs that sound like a highway crash involving a pyschedelic school bus, a truck filled with pigs, a circus caravan, and an old man in a wheelchair.
