Namchi based "Konflicts" band to play at "Hessian Agression: The Gathering" at Meghalaya on July 17

Sikkim's Namchi based noisegrind/punk band "Konflicts" is all set to play at "Hessian Agression: The Gathering", a metal music festival to be held at Meghalaya on July 17.

Festival's impressive line-up features "Defeated Sanity" from Germany, "Godless" from Hyderabad, "Estrotomy" from Darjeeling and "Eternal Scorn" and "Nangsan" from Shillong.

Incepted around 2020, Konflicts is a noisegrind/punk band based in Namchi playing extreme music which lies in the outer fringes of metal music.

The band has toured and played it's music at numerous shows and festivals across the country including Control.Alt.Delete (BOM) and Outrage Festival.

Having released two EPs under their playlists, the band is all set for a new full length release scheduled by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, the band has also been featured in prestigious magazines including Unite Aisa, Decibel Magazine and Rolling Stones India.

Rolling Stones India termed the band's performance "11 Metal Act to See Live in India".

The upcoming festival is set to be held at Rhi Bhoi District of Meghalaya in Phi Rho Sha Resort.

11th May 2024-OMAS is proud to be involved in a watershed moment in the annals of music history in Sikkim as the district of Geyzing forms an association of artists (AAG).
The venue for the event was the cozy Oak Valley Retreat/ TeenPani nestled in the sublime forestry of Geyzing.
The event witnessed thorough participation from the artists of Geyzing wherein the young artists showcased their talents in the form of varied genres of music.
The association in its first meeting felicitated the local bands Guns from Countryside, NSPD, and Bipolar Shadows who have excelled in their respective formats and have put Sikkim in the map of rock music in India.
OMAS would deem it a great privilege to be involved in future projects of such associations and assure of steadfast cooperation ensuring a healthy music environment in and around our state of Sikkim.
