I choose me ❤️

I want to share a little story with you today. It’s actually the story behind my turtle tattoo that you can see on the second photo 🐢

3 years ago I was in an unhealthy relationship.
It lasted for 1,5 years.
I was stuck without realising it.
I was in love but at the same time I was being told where to go and where not, what to wear and what not, what to choose and what not…
I was not able to make decisions for myself.

After many therapy sessions and conversations with family and friends, I came to the realisation that I needed to end this for my own mental health.

I chose me.
I chose me above my feelings for him.
And it was the best decision I could have made.

A few days after the relationship ended, I decided to get a tattoo. I wanted that for a while but he didn’t allow me to do that.

I wanted to proof to myself that choosing me was my best option and that my freedom is more important then any guy could ever tell me.

So my turtle stands for freedom and putting myself first ALWAYS!

And of course it also stands for my love for the ocean which I know will always guide me through life 🌊

Only one week left of 2022 ✨

How are you dealing with it?
Let’s talk about some new year resolutions

A few goals I had for 2022:

Quit my job, go travel, go on a holiday with family, work hard and be more confident in myself, become more positive and do more for myself instead of being there for others all the time.

I didn’t quit my job this year because I wasn’t yet able too. I travelled and I went away with my family which I loved!

I worked hard but I could do more.
I struggled mentally because not everything always worked out how I wanted it too but I overcame that.
I did work on my mindset a lot this year!
I became a lot more positive and I spend more time on myself which I am very proud of.

I stopped saying yes to things I didn’t feel like doing and I started doing more for myself!
This was one of my biggest changes this year!

What am I taking with me for 2023?

I will work even harder and quit my job this year to go travel full time!

I want to learn how to dive this year!

I’ll still spend time on my mindset because even though it got better, it still is extremely important!

I will keep doing the things that I like and say no when I don’t feel like it.

This year I also want to give back to the people I love! People who have always been here to support me. They deserve the world and I want to show them.

Nusa Penida part 2 🌴

The most beautiful views I have ever seen.
This was my last location of my trip to Bali.
I am so incredibly grateful that I was able to make this trip by myself.

It changed my view on life and it made me realise even more that travelling is what i’m meant to do.
This is what I want for the rest of my life. And one day I will find my forever home.
Wherever it may be 🌊

Nusa Penida part 1 🌊

I took a boat from Gili air and went to the island Nusa penida. What I expected to be a dream location💙

But as soon as I arrived at the bungalow where I would stay, I noticed that I was so far away from everything. I had to walk 20 minutes for the closest restaurant.
The next morning I woke up at 4am from a cock🐔

I was so dissapointed and frustrated that I decided to cancel the the rest of my stay and book another one closer to the sea.

That was the best decision I have made!
I arrived at a beautiful place with amazing people who helped me with trips, restaurant ideas, transport…..
I enjoyed my stay there so much!!
And apart from the stay, the nature and beaches there were so impressive!

What you can see on the photos: diamond beach, a temple in a cave, Teletubbies hills, Atuh beach, scooter rides and amazing food as always 😁

Gili air - aka paradise 🌊

This was my favourite place of my whole trip!

On this island, no cars or scooters are allowed! It was so quiet and relaxing! The colours, the sunsets, the people, it’s another world!

Oh and the smoothies were so good 😍😍

Lovina 🐬

This is one of my favourite places of all Bali!
I loved the vibe and I loved all activities!

Sekumpul waterfalls were so impressive!
I went dolphin spotting at sunrise,
saw beautiful sunsets, visited a Buddhist temple, saw a beautiful dragonfly and last but not least: twin lake 😍

What a location 😍💙

First days in Bali 🌴
Seminyak-Canggu

These days I had an overwhelming feeling of happiness 💙
Being able to travel again.
This feeling is something that I want to feel every day.

I love walking around the city, searching for cute spots and good food 😍

My first impression there wasn’t what I expected from Bali. It was busy, lots of tourists, it was hard to find the ocean but when I did, I caught my first sunset 😍

I saw some temples as well! One of them was the famous ‘Tanah Lot Temple’ photo 9 (where i got blessed with holy water)

Had some rain as well but who cares… it’s still Bali 😍🌴

Let me tell you a little story about myself 💚

I was a very insecure girl until a year ago.
I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere. Friends ignored me or didn’t invite me to birthday parties. They talked bad about me behind my back and made me do stuff I didn’t want to do. I never liked going to school.

Relationships never worked out how I wanted it to. I was cheated on, I was told what to wear and how to behave.
I felt like a black sheep. I didn’t belong anywhere. I had a few good friends (who I still am so thankful for!) but that was it…
I was different. I had different dreams then all the people around me. A different view on life.

That was until I got to know about an amazing business opportunity. I was scared but excited. New people, new adventures. I needed that!

I got thrown into a big community and I realised that all those people are like me. They all have a different view on life, they all are black sheeps. I finally wasn’t alone anymore. I found my people. The most amazing friendships came from starting this business. I never expected that.
They made me feel like I belong here and because of that I grew so much confidence! More then I ever thought was possible.
They taught me how to put myself first always.
I started reading self help books, listening to motivational podcasts… which also helped me massively!

I have said this a lot but I am so incredibly grateful that I got this opportunity. I wouldn’t be where I am today without these beautiful people ❤️

Let’s talk about body confidence 🦋

Today I can say i’m pretty confident about myself. I love my body and I accept it for how it is.

But it isn’t always like this. I still have bad days and I’m still figuring out how to deal with it.

I still have binge eating issues from time to time.

I was scared to post this photo. It shows my belly and that freaks me out but I think I look cute anyway.

I’m working on it. I’m working on showing off my body. It is beautiful. I just need to get out of my comfort zone more and accept me for who I am.

I’m still learning but I have come a long way already and i’m on the right path. I’m proud of me 🦋

Little task for you now: look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are beautiful 5 times. And mean it ❤️

Free to make my own choices and to do whatever I want!

But there is always a time limit.
‘I have to get back for work’

That’s one of the reasons why I started my online business.

So I could have free time whenever I want it and travel the world while having an income!

What if I fail? ✨

That’s a sentence that kept going on and on in my head before making the decision of starting an online business.
So what if I fail? Then i’ll just continue the 9-5 life and live in the same circle of work-save-travel…..
But is that what I want?
No it’s not.
So failing is not an option.

If you work for your dreams and goals there is just no way that you will fail. 🙌🏻
Only if you believe that you will.

It’s all in your head. (The law of attraction)

You are always going to find reasons to procrastinate but how are you going to achieve your goals by doing that?

You just have to fu***ng go for it and put the effort in.
It will work out! I believe it will.
Do you believe it? Do you believe in yourself? You should! 💪🏻

Let’s work on our dreams and make them come true! Even if people tell you that you’re dreaming too big. Show them they are wrong.💚

What a day ✨
It’s hard to find the right words
but being surrounded with people who have the same goals in life and the same mentality is so refreshing.

And i’m so so so incredibly blessed that I get to experience this 🙏🏻

I have never felt more like home anywhere then I do when i’m surrounded by this community.

It’s magic. There is no other way to describe it.

I feel loved, I feel appreciated, I feel like I belong with them and most of all I feel like i’m living a dream and I am fu***ng ready to be successful
because I deserve that
and i’m capable of being a leader and making things happen.

✨The day I decided that my life was magical, there was suddenly magic all around me✨

It’s all about mindset.
A year ago I didn’t even believe that mindset was a thing. I never read a self-help book or listened to a podcast.

‘How are you’ was the hardest question I got every day.
‘I’m good’ was my answer (with the biggest mask possible)

Luckily I started learning and I met the right people who helped me along the way.

One year ago I would have never believed it if someone told me that I would be so happy that some days I could just start crying from being so overwhelmed with happiness .

Life is so beautiful 🦋
Even if you’re not seeing it right now. It is.
Open your eyes, let things go and take care of yourself.

As you may have seen on my stories, this week it’s exactly one year ago that I started my online business.

So let’s talk about what changed.

While starting I was in a very bad mental place. I just ended a toxic relationship and didn’t know what to do with my life.

I just wanted to travel that’s it.
My first thoughts: I will make this business work, travel and live the dream life. Easy. Give me a month. 💪🏻

Oh boy I was so wrong.

I learned, learned and learned more every day but nothing was happening. It wasn’t until I met (my accountability partner) that I noticed that I was doing it so wrong.

How would I be able to help people start living their dream life if I can’t even help myself?

I was a pessimistic , negative, always looking at the worst side of everything kind of girl. I was used to being like that. And I didn’t even realise it until I became a part of .yourfreedom and saw how different life can be if you change your mindset.

I started reading about it, connecting with the right people (which I struggled with in the past) and learned how to take care of myself.

I changed. Not a little bit, but a complete 360 turn.
I am the opposite of the girl I was a year ago.

And for that, I will be grateful for the rest of my life 🙏🏻❤️

Great minds think alike ❤️

Never have I experienced a connection like this before.

This gorgeous woman made it all happen. She convinced me to start an online business. I was scared, had doubts, didn’t believe I could do it and I didn’t believe in myself.
But Lianne believed that I could and that was everything I needed. 💛

I joined the community that she created and I felt at home from the first second.
I didn’t expect this at all. The most beautiful friendships came out of it and I can’t express how grateful I am.

This business is not just about money. It’s about mindset too and because of Lianne and the rest of our team I became this person that I never knew was inside of me.

So much has changed and the biggest thing is the way I look at life.

The future is bright and I can’t wait to see what is yet to come ✨

My goal in life? ✨

Easy. Freedom. 🕊

Freedom to be where i want to be,
Freedom to do whatever i want to do
And freedom to plan my day how i want to spend it.

I never thought it was possible. I thought that studying, searching for a job and working till 67 was the normal way to go.

Guess what, it’s not. Times change.
Working online is becoming a possibility. More then half of all the people on earth are on social media so why wouldn’t it work?

I’m seeing it happen with my own eyes and it’s going to happen for me too. Very soon ✨

Why did i start working online? ✨

In 2020 i spend 4 month in Egypt. I learned how it feels to travel without a limit.
Buying a one way ticket and deciding there when i want to come back. 🌴

But after 4 months i finished my money and had to come back to work. That’s when i realised that this is not the life i want.
Work-save-travel-repeat… always the same circle

I needed a change. It was time to take my future in my own hands and show everyone who said it wasn’t possible that i can make all my dreams come true!

I am now creating this life for myself. Not for anyone else! Just for me 💪🏻

Celebrating another year of life ✨

It has been a year with big ups and big downs.

My biggest up this year was realising that the 9-5 life is not for me and taking the step of starting my online business in order to get the freedom I have always dreamed of.
The downs are not even worth talking about anymore because they made me so much stronger! 💪🏻
I completely changed into a new person and I’m unbelievably grateful for this life ❤️

Sunshine ☀️

This past week the sun finally came out. It has been raining and storming for weeks and I noticed that it was affecting my mood and my mental health.
I struggled with getting out of bed and I struggled with being productive. All I wanted to do was sleep all day.

This past few days turned me around completely. I got out of bed early, I read, I wrote, I danced, I laughed…
I’m so grateful for the sun 🌞
It affects me more then I thought.

Tomorrow is valentines day ❤️

I used to love valentines day. I was a hopeless romantic 8 year old who wrote secret love letters to all the boys I liked in school and put them in their backpacks without anyone seeing it.
As I got older I felt like I HAD to be in a relationship. I always ended up sad and alone on the 14th of February.

Last year was the first time I actually was in a relationship on valentines day and we didn’t even celebrate it.

This year i’m spending it alone again but i’m the happiest I have been in YEARS! ❤️

This year valentines day is going to be about me, myself and I.
I’m not going to check out all those couple photos on social media. Instead I will be working on MY dreams, MY goals and MY self imagine.

I will be writing down my gratitude. I will be thanking the universe for all the opportunities I got and the ones that will come, for the amazing people i’ve met in the last few months (you know who you are, I love you!) and for always standing by me and not letting me down when things get hard. ✨

I will forever be thankful for my journey. The good and the bad parts of it.

I found the place where i belong 🌸

Last weekend I travelled to Sheffield in the UK for a big business event. I finally got to meet the people who i have been working with online since the beginning.

I can’t even describe everything I experienced over the weekend. Meeting our team was magical. ✨
It felt like we had known each other for years! I have never had such a connection with anyone in my life. These girls are my people. We share the same values, dreams and goals.

Being around all these inspirational people changed something in me. I’m ready for bigger things. I feel like I can handle anything now. Whatever comes my way I will take it.
I’m so ready to get this business growing 💪🏻

This was 2021✨

A lot has happend this year. Good and bad things.
I started the year in Egypt, came back at the end of january and surprised my family and friends. 🐬
I got my first tattoo and met new friends
I went on a surfcamp in france and had the best time🏄🏽‍♀️
I started an online business.
I went snowboarding for the first time and danced a lot!
I lost myself and found myself again this year. I learned how to deal with bad situations and I realised what I want in life.✈️
2022 is going to be amazing. Covid is not stopping me anymore. I’m going to work hard to make my dreams come true. It’s going to happen in 2022 💪🏻 I just know it.

Since I was a little kid I have always had many dreams. I wanted to do everything at once but of course that’s not possible. Making a decision of what to study in school was hard because I wanted to do everything.

Even now I have the biggest dreams. When I talk about it, people always tell me that it’s too much. That I will not be able to make all those dreams come true. ☁️

Watch me. Because i’m going to make it in life. I’m going to be happy, I will travel the world and I will start a family with my soulmate that i haven’t met yet. I have a lot more dreams but if I start talking about all of them I will still be typing tomorrow 😅
