A recent viral list categorizing writers as “Zionist” and “Anti-Zionist” disturbs writer Erika Dreifus as a Jewish person. But the subpar research and “intellectual sloppiness offend me as a writer and teacher, too.”

Careful research, critical thinking and precise language seems to go out the door in the literary community when talking about books and writing by Jews and/or Zionists.
