Pickleball injury prevention seminar in Exeter

EXETER — Access Sports Medicine and the Exeter Area YMCA will co-host a Pickleball Injury Prevention seminar on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Exeter Area YMCA Community Center.

The seminar, led by Chris Wheeler of Access Sports Medicine, aims to educate pickleball enthusiasts on common injuries, effective treatments, and practical prevention strategies. Participants will learn about the causes of pickleball injuries, treatment options, and prevention techniques, including proper warm-up routines and conditioning exercises.

“Pickleball is a fantastic sport for staying active, but like any activity, it comes with injury risks if not approached with proper preparation,” said Wheeler. “Our goal with this seminar is to educate players on how to protect themselves and stay in the game they love.”

For more information, visit the Exeter Area YMCA at 56 Linden St., Exeter.
