49ers thoughts.... (No Oscar... not a podcast return post)
Kyle is choosing Jimmy over Trey this week.. ONLY thing I can think of, and its a stretch but I have to think postive is that this is Lynch's call.
Hear me out... A Few teams need a QB.. Carolina, New York Jets...maybe even KC depending on that NASTY hit that Mahommes took.
WHAT IF.... Lynch was getting calls on Jimmy before he went out in the rain and s**t the bed so hard you had to buy a new mattress.
Lynch might have told Kyle... we have 1 week til the deadline... Roll his ass back out there.. he needs to show he is healthy, can still win a game and lead a team.
More thoughts.
Carolina: Darnold Benched for an XFL Kid... 3rd rounder for Jimmy?
NYJ: Saleh likes him Wilson hurt, might not be bad to start those talks up again. (compensation... IDK)
KC: If PM is hurt, or if they are concerned that he is getting dinged up too often.... Jimmy is the PERFECT backup over Henne.... Look what Andy Reid did with Alex Smith... Jimmy is just a better looking Smith these days anyways.
Pittsburg.... Give Big Ben a backup in case he goes down, which is common as Ben has gotten older.... Maybe we swindle a disgruntled JuJu out of PIttsburgh
We gotta get SOMETHING For Jimmy before the deadline... he clearly isnt our guy of the future... and Lynch HAS to get agressive since he has been so passive at the deadline every year.
