Sarah Gillespie met Kate 12 years ago on a flight from London to Vancouver. “We only started chatting in the last 20 mins of the flight and discovered we were both musicians. Little did I know I'd end up with the privilege of mentoring Kate years later and producing her album! Life is so f***king weird!”

Chris Montague + Sarah Gillespie recorded this project last year in Eastcote Studios with Emiliano Caroselli + Conor Chaplin and George Murphy. 🎹🥁🎸

Working 1-2-1 in person for an extended time is one of my favourite ways to work with artists. It's powerful, intuitive + yields magical results. Poetry is born. Self consciousness is slashed. ART happens!
