In the quest to bring service closer to the people, we embarked on a journey of putting up infrastructures to accommodate Huduma Center, Law Court, and Land Registry offices.

Paid a courtesy call to Chuka Law court administrator Madam Cecily, Chief Magistrate and Chuka High Court judge Justice Lucy Gitari to discuss on request sent to the Chief Justice for approval of the Maara Law court building.

Also engaged the Chuka Huduma centre station manager and invited her to visit and inspect the ongoing Huduma centre construction in Maara . We equally engaged the Huduma Kenya secretariat through the ministry of public service towards equipping and Operationalization immediately the construction is completed.

Attended the Kanini Water Project community dialogue at Kiamuchairu Dispensary grounds, where we discussed the challenges facing the project and the way forward. The project serves over 300 households in the area.

Issues addressed
1. Over 90% water supply both for irrigation and domestic use. This can be traced back even when he was the MP for Nith ie Kamwene WP, Mukami WP, Muringa Banana WP, Chogoria water and sewage water system, Thambo and Kajogu dams etc. Kirumi kîamujari WP the contract has been reawarded to a new contractor and work is about to commence anytime.
2. Over 70% electrification in Maara
3. Roads upgrading and tarmacking. ie. Keeria- Magutuni (ongoing), Nturiri road(ongoing) etc
4. Education. There are no mud classrooms in maara.. (Gûtî kîrathi gûcongete na mwena maara) . Equitable Bursary allocation
5. Employment. Through JSS, 90% of teachers have been absorbed and others getting P&P job.
6. Construction of CDF offices, operational huduma center, Land registry, births and death cert offices. (Ongoing) The main challenge was on land acquisition and the was settled and funds allocated in FY 2022/2023 for implementation.
7. Additional administrative boundaries in maara. Initially we had less than 20 sub-locations. Currently we have 54 sub-loations.
8.several project done in chuka while he was the MP for Nithi. ie kamwimbi school construction, construction of chuka cereals boad, water for irrigation in Igambangombe etc
