Hello Goodbye is a commercial but timeless electropop song, with emotional male vocals and full with a rich arrangement including a strong beat, a catchy guitar riff, soaring strings and electronic keys. Sitting firmly at the intersection of indie-pop, electro-pop and dance-pop. The positive and uplifting vibe of the music creates an artistic juxtaposition with the melancholic lyrics about a breakup: how time is irrelevant as it is reversed back to the start of a relationship when a couple say their last goodbye.
