Iowa was nothing short of perfect. God has blessed me with a redemption trip to the big buck state. Out of tags and made 2 great shots. Truly thankful and wish I had another IA buck tag so I could spend more time in this beautiful place. Thankful for my Iowa friends and the HP support along the way. 🤙

Sunday Funday came together after an awesome Halloween family camping trip. I knew I had to get back in the woods and figured I’d try a decoy in the timber (podcast to come on why) This beautiful 9 point locked on and closed the distance. 21 yards weak side in a saddle, platform, carbon sticks, was enough. Short track job and hanging in the barn. My main goal was to get 3 deer shot with a bow before Iowa …coming this weekend. 2 deer down. 1st buck with a decoy. Can’t thank my wife enough for allowing me the time with our crazy schedules. Tks to my buddies Happ for the decoy and Dave for the drag A great buck hanging in the barn about beats everything. Blessed to chase these huge-necked critters in God’s Creation.

We are a couple regular Joes who want to learn about as much about habitat management as we can. Our mission is to become better habitat managers. So, we started a podcast to learn... which will in turn help other guys/gals learn as well, as we share our journey.
