What a year I’ve had!

My Mum in law was supposed to come before I had my baby. I was daydreaming about relaxing and getting lots of sleep. hmmm….. long story short ….. she couldn’t get her passport on time, apparently passport booklets were short in Ghana and what would take a month took 5 months 🙄….. So we had to accept that we were going to do it alone.

The evening I got back from the hospital I started having a headache, I thought it was just tiredness . The next day I called the hospital and I was told to take some painkillers and if it didn’t go I should come. Once the painkiller I took wore off, I felt sicker. I couldn’t sit and stand without help. We got back on a Monday and the Sunday we ended up in the ER. I was admitted immediately. I had a lot of blood stuck in me, not flowing out as supposed to; causing a serious infection.

Oxytocin and antibiotics were pumped into me to shrink my womb faster and push down the blood. From that night and the whole of Monday. Tuesday I went to see some specialists and they said there was still so much blood…. After all that oxytocin?

They then brought out this big barrel thing shaped like of a syringe to scoop everything out….…. that procedure was one of the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever experienced, on top I had stitches…. In four different places 🤣

But after I was wheeled back to my room, I felt so light! So much pressure was off me and I could easily move. The next day I was cleared to go home…. The doctor said to come back incase I was feeling sick again …. come back where? Affliction will not rise up a second time ….. this happens once…. and it was 🙏🏾

I went home for the 2nd time and wheeeww!! adjusting with a new born and a toddler was hard. The 1st month was the toughest! We were both stretched beyond our limits ….. we really thought we couldn’t do it but God worked things out 🙏🏾… we’re 8 months in and it’s amazing! 🥰 When I see the bond my babies share ….. arghhhh 😍😍😍 it’s so worth it …… I’m so grateful to be on this journey ….. Praise God for strength and grace and a wonderful life ….. Happy Birthday to me!!!! #🎉

I still can’t wrap my head around this, 50 pesewas? Ha! just take a bottle around and walk to a banking of hall of your Bank, if you like you can check your balance on the atm then fetch water and leave, I used to like going to the East Legon Stanbic branch because they had a dispenser in the atm hall for customers 😅😅……..

I can’t believe my bump is gone! Do I miss it? Naaaaaa 🤣….. not yet ….. I can wear socks without asking for anyone’s help 🤣….. I can bend down and pick up stuff, I can easily sit and get up 🤣……

Anyways this time the breastfeeding gods were kind 🥰, I can actually feed a baby to get satisfied from my breasts!!! It’s still a shock to me anytime he is satisfied ….. Me! Ha! 🙏🏾…. Baba God thank you for this one!!! Haaaaa!!!!

I’m thinking of doing my first live video soon, I think it’ll be fun 🥳….. cos where’s the time to record and edit 🤣…..
