Do you want to know more about working conditions of translators on digital platforms and in cooperatives? What happens to translators now that the dominance of platform economy, AI and MT technologies are around? What potential solutions could there be for improving their working conditions?

As we anticipated last week, our friend Gökhan Fırat Dr has published his thesis on how cognitive capitalism, platform economies and cooperative models are reshaping and impacting translation work and its labour conditions. We participated in the study as well as being one of the main study cases.

Next Wed 12 Feb there will be an online presentation and discussion on the findings of the study. It will be hosted by Translation Village as part of its webinar series, the event is free and open to everyone. You can register here:
