It’s four years since we packed our studio into a hatchback and drove around England recording folk musicians in their front rooms and other spaces. We wanted to take a snapshot of the practice of English folk music right now.

This review by Field Readings focuses on the aesthetics of the project, both visual and auditory, calling it "a truly authentic and honest picture of modern folk music".
