Hey everyone!👋

EESTEC, short for Electrical Engineering Students' European Association, is an organization that operates on both local and international levels with the objective of fostering a network of technology and engineering students throughout Europe. We have a variety of teams and projects that help us achieve our goals and make a positive impact in the world.

I'm excited to share that this year, we welcomed 2199 new members to EESTEC!🎉 These individuals share our passion and are ready to contribute to our mission. Additionally, we have approximately 1332 officially registered EESTEC alumni members who continue to support and inspire us.

All of this information wouldn't have been possible without our teams' and projects' hard work and dedication.👏 We are grateful for their efforts and commitment to our cause. We also want to give a special shoutout to our IM team for collaborating with us on this post. Thank you for your help and support!

Hello EESTECers ✨

💥Recently, many changes have occurred in our lives due to the pandemic. The pace of digization has increased and the intensity of online work has expanded 🧐. However, there have been some changes in education as well. Virtual classroom environments were established to increase the efficiency of online courses🌟. And these have come true with Head Mounted Displays.
⚡️ Thanks to the virtual environment, it is aimed to enable students to teach in the same classroom environment and to prevent the loss of efficiency in online lessons.

China has become the second country after the USA to drive a rover on Mars' surface. What will it do? ⬇️

After the Perseverance mission of NASA, China announced that their rover Zhurong has landed on Mars successfully. Zhurong, which means Fire-God, will send data collected with five pieces of equipment onboard including two panoramic cameras, a ground-penetrating radar, a magnetic field detector, and a laser.

Have you thought these space developments will stop? Well, you guessed wrong. In a joint project with Russia, Europe's space agency will send a rover named Rosalind Franklin to Mars next year, after two unsuccessful landing attempts. 🚀

EESTECers, are you ready not to shake? 🤯

Even a few seconds of notice before a major earthquake can help people prepare. As a result, researchers at Stanford University have turned to deep learning to predict strong shaking and send out early alerts. In this series of , we examined AI learning in the prediction of earthquakes. ⬇️

Deep-learning networks have the benefit of automatically incorporating site quirks because they are based on previous shaking experiences in that location, according to the developer.
