Underground Communique was founded in 2004 by Justin Schwier, based on the idea of promoting great local bands that deserved attention, which has grown over 12 years to include bands from across the US, New Zealand, Brazil, England, and more. Our catalog spans over 100 releases, from pop punk to hardcore to ska to doomy metal to shoegaze to standup comedy to death metal to folk tunes and a lot more in between. We gravitate towards pushing the voices of the underdog artists.
