It's Thursday (December 19th) as I post this which means this is the day for my latest edition of Jazz Fifty-Eight 8 on CJSR. Being the last program before Christmas, the show will feature a number of seasonal jazz tunes along with the usual recent jazz releases.

On Monday (Oct. 28) I presented a program on CJSR, supporting FunDrive and celebrating the 40th anniversary of CJSR as an FM broadcaster. In that show I share my voice and the music I played, on a program from November of 1984 (40 years ago!).

I spent many hours this weekend planning/preparing a special Jazz Fifty-Eight 8 for CJSR's FunDrive. I'll be presenting tracks from 8 of the great jazz albums from '58 and from a bunch of very noteworthy albums from 2024!
I can't wait to share this program. It airs Thursday afternoon 1-3pm MT on 88.5 in Edmonton (and of course can be live-streamed around the world)!
