Nightlight Productions is the subsidiary of SAFATA Academy and also forms part of a Windmill Productions as a short-form division. Nightlight Productions focuses on the short form projects and serves as an official production studio for Windmill Productions. ​ Nightlight Productions, founded by Nicho Barnard in 2016- creates content internally and does accept unsolicited submissions for external work. Their main objective is also to create short form content for Local and International Film Festivals, Competition and for Distribution Purposes and content creation for clients. This division oversees the creation, development and producing of local & international short forms such as short films, mini-series, web-series and etc. However, the production house also operates as a full production studio for external clients to facilitate and assist other production companies, producers and directors with any production services that they might need. ​ Nightlight Production's services include: ​Content Creation - Nightlight's primary goal is to create content. Particularly short form content for Local and International Platforms. Content that gets distributed and that wins awards!

Nightlight Productions also facilitates as a production facility and studio that also offers crew and production services for any other project within the Film and Television industry locally and internationally. ​ Commercial & Corporate - Nightlight works for clients in the creation and development of TV Commercials and Adverts. From creative and script development, talent scouting and casting, location scouting, equipment hiring, crew hiring and etc. We are a one stop shop with award-winning crew that has worked on local and international contents.

Production Assistance - Nightlight Productions takes over and facilitates any project and serves as the production facility for producers and other production houses to create, develop and produce content for and on behalf of clients. With a professional team of people, we oversee all aspects of your project from start to completion with our own team of people. With everything from writers, producers, directors, production managers, coordinators, makeup artists, art directors, art creators, sound operators, camera operators, assistants, editors, graphic designers, special effect and visual artists, sound designers and many more, clients can be reassured that their visions will be brought to live in the best way possible. (This is for people / clients that have the idea and capital to create a movie, TV Show, TV Series, Sitcom or Short Form but needs the team to producer and develop it for them.)
