My new documentary, “Valor and Memory,” will air on Public TV stations across the U.S. in November. It is the story of America’s Flying Tigers of World War 2 fame, the “Chinese Tigers” who defended their homeland, and the “Chinese American Tigers” sent by the U.S. Army to China for their cultural and linguistic knowledge as well as technical skills. Why are they once again being remembered, and celebrated?

Saved by Chinese farmers, fishermen and patriots.

Enrolling in NYFA, she reinvented herself as a multimedia journalist, then found a home at CBS News. Recently she wasn't just the producer of stories about the past decade, she became part of the story herself.
