The Charleston Comedy Podcast was created in 2014 by Brandon Lowe. Brandon wanted to just start a project outside his 9-5 at the radio station. So, he chose to start a comedy podcast featuring local comics around the state of WV. After a couple of episodes, Brandon joined forced with Sam Canterbury who later became the permanent co host and promoter for the show. Later, Comedy Zone in South Charleston reached out for partnership and sponsorship with The Charleston Comedy Podcast.
