In today’s episode Broderick is in conversation with Dr. Kelly Moore, PhD, LICSW. Kelly has dedicated over 35 years to adolescent and family mental health. Serving as the Director of Counseling and Learning Support at an independent school in the Seattle area, she spearheaded the creation of social-emotional curricula for grades 5-12, established a robust parent education program, and developed a well-being curriculum for faculty and staff. Driven by a steadfast mission to combat the alarming rise of depression, anxiety, and suicide among youth she witnessed throughout her career, she founded Accompanied for Caregivers. At one point he served as the President of the South African Pain Society. He later took over the Pain Clinic of the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA where he supervised an interdisciplinary team of providers including physicians, psychologists as well as physical and occupational therapists. Gordon is currently involved with volunteering with the End of Life (Death with Dignity) program in Washington State.
