Rekids is a UK-based electronic label, conceived in 2006 by Matt Edwards (aka Radio Slave). In its relatively short existence, Rekids has quickly become one of the most respected underground labels around - releasing cutting-edge, electronic music that is effective off the dance-floor as well as on it. Some of the key artists represented by the label include Nina Kraviz, Mr. G, Luke Solomon, Spenc
er Parker, Toby Tobias, James Teej and of course Radio Slave himself. The Rekids sister-label ‘Pyramids Of Mars’ was also launched recently – an offshoot imprint that celebrates more experimental music, with genre-bending input from Vince Watson and Joe Claussell so far. The boss Radio Slave (Official) joined Scuba on his infamous Not A Diving podcast, with the pair offering provocative insights into illegal raves, finding your space as an up-and-coming musician, and the current music scene's direction.
"It's becoming harder and harder, but as much as we all like to complain, I see so many good things happening and I'm working with so many great young musicians and artists from everywhere, but it is whether they can find their space in all of this noise, that's the hardest thing, because its not easy" (Radio Slave).

Introducing Rekids charts.
You may have noticed Radio Slave (Official) decrying the lack of DJs talking about music, and with the Resident Advisor Chart section of their site being long gone and missed, we’ve decided to give a platform to the Rekids crew to do charts the old school way.
This isn’t about selling current releases or pushing PR priorities; it’s about DJs giving a breakdown of tunes that are working for them right now, whether the tracks are unreleased, released, or as old as the hills.
We’ll be inviting Rekids artists and friends of the label and asking you to contribute. In the meantime, check out the selections from Radio Slave, Monty Luke II and Tal Fussman to kick things off!
