Look deep into the world of genuine underground hip hop, and you will find the dedicated family of Found By A Sound Productions, or FBAS. The FBAS movement was founded in 2008 by the owner David Fiechuk, also known as D-Mix, as well as the CEO Joshua MCcaslin, also known as Realistic. Since this day, FBAS has been relentless about their pursuit and dedication towards the underground hip hop scene,
and have consistently provided the missing link that is needed to bring real hip hop back to life. Along with their raw image, diverse and versatile rhythm, FBAS is the epitome of what well rounded emcees should be on the mic. FBAS is home to a unique roster of talented artists such as: David Fiechuk (D-Mix); who has mastered his craft of music production and engineering, as well as prove that he is in the elite group of emcees who provide a rapid fire flow with pure rhythm, and complex lyrics. Joshua MCcaslin (Realistic); who brings the ability to provide raw, real-life struggles and emotions, and turn his obstacles into a heartfelt, well crafted story. After listening to Realistic, one can't help but to be motivated, and attracted by the positive light that he brings to the undergound. He is so poetic and intelligent in the way he writes his music, that he truly has redefined what it means to be lyrical. He is a genius in every aspect of his work, and is such an influential figure in the underground movement. Christopher Taylor (Tay-Tay); is also an artist who brings a quick flow to the plate. The energy surrounding him is contagious, and he always brings a positive vibe to the scene. Trent Hueppelsheuser (Epiidemic) is an artist who provides his raw talent with a pinch of southern flavor to FBAS. He is a talented North Carolina emcee, with a bright and positive future in hip hop. Phil Slagle (Badd H@bIT); who is the newest member of the FBAS family, is another artist who is very focused on the lyricism aspect of music. He is well known for his ability to put together compound syllables and share his unique experiences of life through music. He brings pure motivation and dedication to hip hop. Aside from their movement in the underground, FBAS is unlike many other labels, because FBAS truly is interested in getting to know each and every one of their fans as individuals. Because they are so dedicated to their fans, FBAS has decided to open their recording studio to the general public. FBAS is interested in collabs with other artists, as well as working with any fans whom they have inspired. FBAS has adopted strong family values within the label, and welcome everyone and anyone to listen to their music. D-mix released the self debut "Gotham" in 2009, "Flomatic" in 2011, and is currently in the process of completing "Floverload" set to drop in 2013. FBAS as a family have released the incredibly dope " The Exile" mixtape in 2011, and are currently in the process of releasing the much anticipated "The Exile’s Rebellion" mixtape, set to drop in 2013, as well as "Bad Mix", also set to drop 2013. Below are the links to the FBAS websites, and the key to a successful underground hip hop movement. "It's not about the destination, it about the journey." (Realistic) "If you're not there for our struggles, you won't be there for our success." (Realistic)
