This weekend in Washington! Going to be a good one.

What a feeling… to finally get to announce one of your WISH LIST guests is coming to Summer Con. Please welcome Jennifer Beals as THE FINAL guest in the massive Washington State Summer Con lineup happening in Puyallup from June 21st through the 23rd.

Jennifer made her film debut in My Bodyguard, before receiving critical acclaim for her performance as Alexandra Owens in Flashdance, for which she won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.

Beals has appeared in several films including Vampire's Kiss, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Devil in a Blue Dress, The Last Days of Disco, Roger Dodger, The Book of Eli, Before I Fall, and Luckiest Girl Alive.

On television, she starred in shows such as The Chicago Code, Proof, and Taken. Her portrayal of Bette Porter on the Showtime drama series The L Word earned her a nomination for the Satellite Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama. She reprised her role as Bette Porter and served as an executive producer on the sequel series The L Word: Generation Q.

Actor and producer Jennifer Beals recently starred as "Garsa Fwip" in Disney+'s mega-hit, THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT where she dons the Twi'lek tentacles and runs a cantina in Mos Espa. On the feature side, Jennifer's recent credits include Luckiest Girl Alive which premiered on Netflix in 2022 as the number one most-streamed film on the platform that month.

Dave Foley is a Canadian actor, stand-up comedian, director, producer, and writer. He is known as a co-founder of the comedy group The Kids in the Hall, responsible for their eponymous sketch show and the feature-length film Brain Candy. He played Dave Nelson in the sitcom NewsRadio, voiced Flik in A Bug's Life, and hosted the game show Celebrity Poker Showdown.

The Hollywood Show is proud to host Julie Newmar, Saturday, June 8th for her only 2024 appearance anywhere!

Julie Newmar is an actress, dancer, and singer known for a variety of stage, screen, and television roles. She is also a writer, lingerie designer, and real estate mogul. She won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her role as Katrin Sveg in the 1958 Broadway production of The Marriage-Go-Round, and reprised the role in the 1961 film version. In the 1960s she starred for two seasons as Catwoman in the television series Batman. Her other stage credits include Ziegfeld Follies in 1956, Lola in Damn Yankees! in 1961, and Irma in Irma la Douce in 1965 in regional productions.

Newmar appeared in the music video for George Michael's 1992 single "Too Funky" and had a cameo as herself in the 1995 film To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. Her voice work includes the animated feature films Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders and Batman vs. Two-Face, for which she reprised her role as Catwoman, fifty years after the original television series.

We said we'd be pulling out all the stops for our Decade of Northern FanCon Celebration, so of course, we had to include a Canadian LEGEND!

We are incredibly excited to announce the one and only Dave Foley!

You know him from arguably one of Canada's most famous sketch comedy shows, The Kids In The Hall, but Dave has over 160 acting credits!

We were big fans of his recent appearance as Danish Graves in season 5 of Fargo, but we know there's a ton of love for his character, Dave Nelson, in NewsRadio!

He's also been in Dr. Ken, Spun Out, Hot In Cleveland, Dan Vs., A Bug's Life, The Wrong Guy, The Morning Show, Harvey Beaks, The Middle, Adventure Time, and so much more!

Horror film fans will recognize SOSIE for her role as ROSE COTTER in the 2022 psychological, supernatural horror film SMILE. SOSIE starred as the therapist that witnesses a chain of suicides and seeks to find the root of the evil that caused them. A sequel to the film has been announced.

SOSIE is also well known for her role as SKYE MILLER in the popular Netflix series 13 REASONS WHY. SOSIE also starred on the television series MARE OF EASTTOWN, in the role of CARRIE LAYDEN. Other film and television projects that SOSIE has starred in include SCREAM television series, HERE AND NOW, THE LAST SUMMER, AS WE SEE IT, NARCOS: MEXICO and many more! Happy to be Bringing Julie to Greater Austin Comic Con in June!

The Cat is coming to Bat City!!! We're so excited to announce our very first Celebrity Guest!! Please welcome the Legendary, Julie Newmar to Greater Austin Comic Con this June 24th & 25th at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

Born in Hollywood...known for being the quintessential Catwoman. Julie Newmar dropped out of college to become a choreographer/ dance director for Universal Studios. Her early appearances are often seen on YouTube, including her role as the golden statue-come to-life in the film Serpent of the Nile.

She soon became an overnight sensation as the one and only Stupefyin’ Jones in Li’l Abner. Julie won a Tony for her acting role on Broadway in the hit comedy Marriage-Go-Round, and she was immediately accepted by the prestigious Actors Studio. Loving dance, she continued to star in Bob Fosse’s musicals on and off Broadway. She toured nationally with Joel Grey in Stop the World I Want to Get Off.

She guest-starred in many now-favorite TV episodes, on shows such as The Monkees, Columbo, Love American Style, Get Smart, Star Trek, F Troop, The Beverly Hillbillies, Twilight Zone and Route 66. The part she’s most fondly remembered for is Catwoman, in the original Batman television series.

In 1995, Universal Pictures and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment produced a movie named after her, "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar". In the film, Julie appeared as herself.
