Some photos from the showcase last weekend 📸

I’m truly grateful that I get to do this again in a different location! I get to meet fellow artists (in Calgary), discover new art, and as much as I dislike talking about my work, I am thankful that I get to push myself out there to talk about it to the people who appreciate it. 💘

I have learned so much doing this alone this time (no family/friends in the area since this happened in Calgary) and I will certainly apply them to the next one when opportunity comes! I am also proud of myself for actually doing it in spite of my fear of the unknown. 🥺✨

Lastly, thank you to the people that gave me encouragements and bought some of my work. I still feel kilig when I get compliments! 🫶🏼

011523; some snaps i took when i walked through the footbridge by the Bow River Pathway! also my first time crossing and visiting a cat cafe on the other side! i wish i got to explore the other bridges but i stayed in bed for too long during the day 😅

i enjoyed walking there ‘cause it wasn’t that cold! the locals there told me that they don’t usually have that kind of nice weather during winter. lucky me, i guess? oh, i also ALMOST wanted to try walking on the frozen river! i kinda wish i did it, yknow? but i had no one to get me if something bad happens! 😂

I just want to say thank you to the people that came out on a chilly Thursday night 🫶🏼

And to Arienne for helping me out!!! 🤗

“Kilig” would be the right word for the feelings I felt when people buy an artwork, ask how I made them, or how I even manage to have time to make them. 🥰

To be part of an art showcase was one of my goals and it finally happened! Definitely a learning experience for me. I can’t wait to grow, do more in the future, and meet new faces! 😍

I will have one next year outside Toronto, and I promise to myself that I will make it better 🚐
