Today - Thursday 9/5 is National Cheese Pizza Day! My favorite part of a cheese pizza is - the cheese bubbles that pop-up within the pizza. They might be hollow, but for some reason, I think it is the best part of the pizza. 😀

🌟 Adventure Alert! 🌟 Elevate your weekend to the magnificent with a deep dive into the Hidee Gold Mine. Guided by an exceptional leader, brimming with knowledge and wit, we journeyed 650 feet beneath the earth's surface, then descended an additional 60 feet down a stairway carved straight from the earth, into a realm where history melds with thrill.

Geared up with safety essentials, hammer and stake in hand, (remember you are 650 feet into the cave, then another 60 feet down in a small mining cove) you start chipping away into the mine's walls in pursuit of gold! There's a hint of mystery and a touch of the unknown with the right amount of scary. Yet, as the quest for gold captivates your senses, any flicker of fear transforms into a laser-focused determination, turning apprehension into exhilaration.

As we began our descent towards the mine's entrance, we stopped at a spot set up for our next quest - gold panning. Equipped with pans and fueled by dreams, we dove into the age-old technique of seeking out those elusive gold flecks. So engrossed were we in the hunt that we found ourselves captivated by the quest for those tiny glimmers, turning our adventure into an unforgettable pursuit.

This experience was far more than just a stroll through an ancient mine—it was a guided tour packed with education, enjoyment and a touch of gold fever. Picture a journey back in time on a treasure hunt that crafts memories as precious as the gold we sought.

You most definitely need to check out Little Tibet Restaurant & Bar in North Boulder. I love exploring the menu and trying something new each time we visit. This time the Vegetable Pakora, followed by Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan bread was delightful.
