When finished, I'll be a new uplink truck again.
HD or HDR, 2.4 meter antenna, 2x 400 Watt with phase combiner, 16APSK, BISS-CA and DVBS2X.
The big antenna gives 75 dBW EIRP and has less rain fade.

So this is my new look!A Euro 6 truck, 3500 kg.It's going to be a lot of fun, driving through Europe.

How my life started in 1999.

I became a redundant KU-band satellite truck with a 2.4 meter antenna in the Allentown area in Pennsylvania USA, doing uplinks for a Fox affiliate.
I was doing news and sports uplinks. I've been doing this for 23 years! I saw it all!

I'm equipped with 2 encoders, 2 amplifiers (2x 400 Watt extended KU-band) with phase combiner. Capable of doing 75 dBW EIRP. So quite some power to push through heavy rain.
