Authentic Gajar ka Halwa. Family's favourite. (Urdu/Hindi)

★ INGREDIENTS :-

• 2½ kg Carrots
• 2 cups sugar
• ¾ cup ghee
• 6 cardamoms
• 2 litres of milk
• 1 pao khoya to be added in halwa + ½ pao khoya for garnishing
• Dry fruits as per choice

"HOT & SOUR SOUP"

★ INGREDIENTS :-

∆ Stock :-

• 1 litre / 4 glasses of water( it will reduce after cooking)
• Chicken with bones 450 grams
• 1 small onion
• 3 garlic cloves
• small piece of ginger
• 4 black peppers
• ½ tsp salt

∆ Soup :-

• 1 litre / 4 glasses of water
• ½ tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp garlic paste & ginger paste each
• 2 eggs (beaten)
• 1 chicken cube (i.e. Knorr)
• ¼ or ½ tsp sesame oil
• 1 tsp black pepper powder
• 1 tsp white pepper powder
• ¼ tsp chinese salt (optional)
• ½ cup ketchup
• ¼ cup soya sauce
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 3 tbsp hot sauce
• little less than ⅓ cup vinegar
• Cornflour Slurry (½ cup water + 3 tbsp heaped cornflour)

∆ Veggies :-

• 2 small carrots
• ½ cup cut & sauteéd mushrooms
• 2 small spring onions
• 1 cup cabbage
• some pieces of capsicum.

★ METHOD:

Follow this short video for steps. As salt 🧂 plays important role but is hazardous if taken more and spoils the taste too so it's better not to add too much salt in plain stock. You may taste in the end before adding egg & adjust.

I took 4 glasses for stock & ¼ or a bit more reduced while cooking for ½ an hour as i left the lid slightly open too.

After adding vegetables keep flame slow medium & covered so they cook well & release perfect juices within 10 mins.

Husband handed me this box & asked to make Fruit chaat with Kiwi. So it's been a daily ritual since some days that we enjoy fresh Fruit chaat in afternoon & i wash the juicer with bowls instantly so no work gets pending for me after meal. Alhamdulillah 😇😍 ! When we don't have 🍊 Oranges i use Tang😋😊. My kids are fond of almost every fruit Mashallah.

Coriander is so sensitive that sometimes birds pricked & ate young budding leaves or sometime cat jumped & pressed the poor coriander 😬🙄. It's after many years blooming & growing in our 🏡. 🍀

Hello People ! We hope you all are having a great day. Today we are back with another video of “Singhaarey (water chestnuts)”.

it's healthy snack which is available at hawkers, marts or vegetable sellers during winters. Rich source of Calcium & fibre.
How to eat them?
simply boil Singhaarey in water for 15 mins, drain water if any left, let them cool for a while & peel to eat.

sprinkle Chaat masala or Sugar over them or just eat as it is.
