Dollhouse Magazine The Dollhouse Magazine seeks to create a space for feminist artists and writers to share, collaborate & connect at Columbia and Barnard. Love,
Dollhouse

Welcome to Dollhouse Magazine. This is our Womanifesto. We, the people of Dollhouse, seek to create a safe space for collaboratively deconstructing the patriarchy through art and literature at Barnard and Columbia. Dollhouse is inclusive to feminist, womanist, trans*, q***r, PoC, etc. intersectional perspectives on inequality, injustice, and empowerment, as well as new and innovative types of art

and writing. Work to be considered for publication must:
-in some way, shape, or form, be a F**k You to the patriarchy
-be creative and original
-not perpetuate one system of oppression while supporting the destruction of another (ex: “white feminism”, trans*-exclusionary radical feminism a.k.a. TERFs)
-be conscientious and mindful that womanhood comes in many forms

We are so with the misrepresentation and lack of representation of women in art and literature and the male gaze controlling every artform and media outlet. We love unapologetically badass people. We’re down for a world in which we are all having a ball, sipping fruity beverages, and systematic institutional oppression is no more. We want to do something about all this bu****it in the world.
