Horror Ravin's Inaugural movie review by Luke Hyre:
Godzilla Vs. Kong
*(SPOILER ALERT)* I chose this movie, mostly because I just rewatched it recently, but because it's one of my favorite Godzilla/disaster movies. This movie tears you in half by making you root for both Godzilla and Kong, while they both destroy everything in their path. Godzilla is king of the monsters and you don't want him to be dethroned, but Kong is so loveable and just wants to swing around and do monkey stuff, but their fight is inevitable because they're both big monsters. The fights are pretty epic, but it's like watching two of your good friends fight to the possible death. But then MechaGodzilla shows up, the actual secret overpowered villian. Kong has been beaten again by Godzilla, even with his scale axe. But now, Godzilla is getting his ass kicked by MechaGodzilla. In the background Kong is revived and convinced thru sign language to help Godzilla. With Godzilla about to be terminated, Kong shows back up and absolutely annihilates MechaGodzilla. It's a very good way of showing that both Godzilla and Kong are equals in strength. While Godzilla can beat Kong, MechaGodzilla can beat Godzilla, but Kong can beat MechaGodzilla. It was also very interesting to see the parallels of the humans' Kaiju champions. One human group beefed up Kong (the real human Kaiju champion), while a different group tried to create their own mechanical version to save humanity but almost created their own doom in the process. The human story never really matters in these movies cause you're there to see big monsters fight, but they did a good job giving the humans an actual storyline and give them sort of a leg up on Kaijus by giving them their own champion. All in all, I thought this movie was very well written and managed to grasp my attention the whole time, the beginning was a bit slow, but the last hour is absolutely amazing, and the cinematography (I know that it's almost fully CGI) is visually brilliant. I am so excited for the next one Godzilla×Kong: The New Empire! Comment below with your thoughts of the movie, and what monsters you want to see in the next installment!

Matt Van Bodegraven aka Graveyard:
Graveyard is mostly beard, but is also a retro gamer, podcaster, producer, writer for Spoiler magazine and host on a couple of YouTube channels including They Mostly Pod out at Night Mostly and Conversations in the Void. Graveyard is also an IT expert with 15 years in the field.
Graveyard has experience in production, and is looking forward to his growth into the horror world with Horror Ravin. He has plenty on his horror bound mind and hopes to share his visions with upcoming projects with Horror Ravin.
