We're back to school in a big way. Araullo High School in Manila was host to over 1500 volunteers for our largest volunteer activity to date!

Special thanks to our partners TELUS International Philippines, No One In Need, Rotary Club of Mandaluyong Uptown, Manila San Miguel-Rotary Club, UAP Makati CBD Chapter, UAP QC Pugad Lawin, MFC Handmaids, MFC Singles and Vico's Artism Gallery for taking your time out on one Saturday morning to create a better school environment for Araullo High School.

Together, we repainted 90 classrooms, 24 hallways, 33 staircases, 540 chairs, renewed 2 garden areas and repaired ceiling areas of two buildings within the school.

Also special thanks to Pinkspoon Kitchenette and Davies Paints Philippines for their additional donations.

What a great day at work looks like.

Congratulations to Eastern Communications on their 2024 Sales Rally “Eastern Overlanders: Ride to the Top”.

Another challenge Team Catch was more than glad to take on.

When we took on this challenge of helping conceptualize and execute this special yearly rally, we wanted to create as authentic of an overlanding experience as possible for the Eastern Communications sales team within the parameters we were given.

The result? A first of it’s kind event for the First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA) where we converted a field inside the FPLA compound and the surrounding streets into “base camp” with food cooked and served straight from the rigs of Sarsa Kitchen+Bar and Overland Kings.

Guests were also treated to an inspirational session on how to navigate the rough roads of success by Overland Kings Chief Adventure Officer and Lamoiyan Corporation Official COO Joel Conrad Pedro and a full day of experiencing the great outdoors as a team well into the evening.

Also special thanks to Pauline Verzosa and Alexander Felix II for hosting the whole day’s festivities and for Princess Velasco for serenading all of us into the evening with our beers in hand and the bonfire burning in the distance.

We definitely enjoyed this “Ride to the Top”.

We had an AI-mazing campaign with data privacy experts Straits Interactive and the launch of their new capability as a service, Capabara.

From talking to Steve Jobs to a real use case of law firm Follosco Morallos & Herce using Capabara to do hundreds of hours of research on internal documents, our eyes were opened to the many untapped applications for AI in business processes.

Another first for Catch21: proud to have co-produced the very first disability expo in the country. Thanks to Project Inclusion for approaching us to be your partner. It was a unique experience to turn this idea into a reality. From its conceptualization, to obtaining funding, to promoting it to the general public and implementing the actual event, every challenge was worth it.

A lot of dreams came true for persons with disabilities this past weekend and a whole lot of hope was built from this one event with over 2,000 attendees visiting the expo.

Thank you to all the speakers, sponsors, partners and exhibitors who trusted us and believed in the idea. Because of you, the Manulife Philippine Disability Expo is now a reality: an idea that moved us, and truly an idea worth catching.

What’s the highlight of your weekend? Ours is an epic school makeover consisting of 6 buildings, 59 classrooms and over a thousand volunteers from corporate, public and civic clubs from all over the metro! 🙌🏻⭐️

Lakan Dula High School in Tondo was ground zero for Telus Days of Giving (TDOG), an annual CSR effort by TELUS International Philippines coinciding with the Brigada Eskwela initiative of the Department of Education.

Over a month of preparations, classroom repairs and renovations culminated last August 12 with an army of volunteers from the different partner organizations, who all took part by painting the school with a fresh coat of paint.

In this day and age, this just proves that the Bayanihan spirit is not dead. Thank you to our partners, TELUS International Philippines and No One In Need Foundation for spearheading this event.

Inspiring story! 👏🏻

“Ginawa kong ispirasyon yung mga naranasan ko, yung mga negative, para maging positive.”

Wako is a 22-year old aspiring teacher. He was bullied during childhood to the point that his classmates would throw things at him because of his situation, but he considers his experiences as a person with disabilty to be his motivation to do well in school and reach his goals. He wants his diploma to serve as an inspiration to the other persons with disability that they can do it too.

Together, let’s build a more accessible society for and with Persons with Disabilities like Wako.
