General Qamar Javed Bajwa (Urdu: قمر جاوید باجوہ) HI(M), is a four-star rank army general, currently serving as the 16th Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army, appointed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on 26 November 2016.[1][2]
Previously he worked as a Principal Staff Officer to Chief of Army Staff Raheel Sharif as the Inspector General of the Training and Evaluation at the GHQ from 2015 to 2016[3][4] and served as Corps Commander X Corps which is stationed in Rawalpindi from 2013 to 2015
