Mutts & Mittens (M&M) is a group of volunteers helping stray dogs in Ipoh.
Currently, they have 300 dogs under their shelter, M&M takes good care of the dogs, giving them food and shelter(rented property).

Unfortunately, they were forced to moved out from this property within six weeks! Now they need help from us!

1. If anyone knows or have a property around 1 ekar which is willing to rent out, kindly let us know!

2. We’re unable to set up a place for 300 dogs within 6 weeks, so we need building materials to build a temporary shelter for them.

Dementia Café is a welcoming, once a month meeting for anyone who is affected by dementia. People living with dementia, their families, health care professionals and people who are interested in a supporting dementia inclusive community, are all welcome to attend.

Dementia café are run by local voluntary steering committees.

We at Goipoh will be sharing more light into this this whole week!

The first Dementia Café in Malaysia is here in Ipoh, located at 1 Lasam, Greentown Ipoh this café is started by Ipoh's well known in the arts industry, Pak Peter.

Pak peter whose wife Irene John, was diagnosed with dementia in January 2020 started Bougainvillea City Dementia Café last November after months of planning and preparation.

The café provides support and kinship to dementia patients and caregivers by meeting once every month and organizers talks about understanding more about syndrome.
