Good Afternoon on This Wonderful Wednesday Thank you for joining your Hostess Lisa Marie for The Blessing of the Benediction.
I release February's offering 'The Celebration of the Love of God' Exhortation in Honor and observance
of the LENTLY OF LOVE 2023
Today Begins the 40 days of Lent, a time to Hunger, self denial and the rejection of Evil against the test of temptation.
Matthew 4:1-11 At that time Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. He fasted for forty days and forty nights and afterwards was hungry.
The tempter approached and said
to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread.
He said in reply, “It is written: One does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.” Then the devil took him to the holy city and made him stand on the parapet of the temple
and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written: He will command his angels concerning you and with their hands they will support you lest you dash your foot against a stone.”
Jesus answered him, “Again it is written, you shall not put the Lord,
your God to the test.” Then the devil took him up to a very high mountain and he showed him all the kingdoms of the world in their magnificence and he said to him,
“All these I shall give to you if you will prostrate yourself and worship me.”
At this, Jesus said to him, “Get away Satan!
It is written: The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.” Then the devil left him, and behold angels came and ministered to him.
The observance of Ash Wednesday is the time to fortify our members upon the earth that are written in the book of remembrance
Psalm 139:15-17 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned,
when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
The observance of Ash Wednesday is also the holy season to look unto where we were formed and where we will return understanding the penalty of sin and disobedience
Genesis 2:7 says that “God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.”
Genesis 3:19, after Adam and Eve disobey God and sin’s curse spreads to all creation, God tells Adam, “By the sweat of your face ,(for ever chasing the bag)
"unable to enjoy the rest of the Lord and the fruit of his labor " you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust and to dust you shall return.
Isaiah 51:1-5 “Hearken to Me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that
seek the Lord: Look unto the rock from whence ye are hewn, and to the hole
of the pit from whence ye are dug.
2 Look unto Abraham your father and unto Sarah that bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him.3 For the Lord shall comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places,
And He will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.
4 “Hearken unto Me, My people, and give ear unto Me, O My nation; for a law shall proceed from Me, and I will make My judgmentto rest as a light of the people.
5 My righteousness is near; My salvation is gone forth, and Mine arms shall judge the people. The isles shall wait upon Me, and on Mine arm shall they trust.
Isaiah 2:10-17 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord and for the glory of His majesty.
11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down; and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up—and he shall be brought low”
13 and upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan; 14 and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up;
15 and upon every high tower, and upon every fortified wall;16 and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant sights.
17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low; and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
We also remember those who have put on immortality 2 Timothy 1:7-10 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment
and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
8So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord or about me His prisoner, but with me take your share of suffering for the gospel [continue to preach regardless of the circumstances],
in accordance with the power of God [for His power is invincible],
9 for He delivered us and saved us and called us with a holy calling [a calling that leads to a consecrated life—a life set apart—a life of purpose], not because of our works [or because of any personal merit
—we could do nothing to earn this], but because of His own purpose and grace [His amazing, undeserved favor] which was granted to us in Christ Jesus before the world began [eternal ages ago],
10 but now [that extraordinary purpose and grace] has been fully disclosed and realized by us through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus
who [through His incarnation and earthly ministry] abolished death [making it null and void] and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
The word Lently is defined as being that moment of being in ease and in the flow, on point with the choices you make, a manner that demonstrates excellence very well done.
Jesus's shed blood on the cross, ended the power of sin and death, and by his resurrection brought us into the Grace of God.by the breath of God. being the Crowned Jewel of Christ,
I rejoice that the shed Blood and Body of Christ as Gifted me with Eternal Life, which will always reveal his salvation from beyond the Veil that was ripped from the Holy of Holies
This time marks a season that grants us the opportunity to go deeper into the contemplation, supplication and prayer and remembrance,
The Clarion call of what's to come in celebration of The Fruits that shall be revealed in THE HERE AFTER.
Revelation 1:18-20 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand,
and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
The Bride is being wooed by The Invitation to Come up Higher, and
come Closer in Celebration of your Spring Harvest.
Song of Solomon 2:10-17 My beloved spoke and said unto me, ‘Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. 11 For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.’
”14 “O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
”15 “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines; for our vines have tender grapes.”16 “My beloved is mine, and I am his; he feedeth among the lilies.
17 Until the day break and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
He that sees you in secret will reward you openly from your Secret sacred holy place Matthew 6:1-5 6“Take heed that ye do not your almsgiving before men, to be seen by them; otherwise ye have no reward from your Father who is in Heaven.
2 Therefore when thou givest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have the glory of men. Verily
I say unto you, they have their reward.
3 But when thou givest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth,4 that thine alms giving may be in secret; and thy Father who seeth in secret,
Himself shall reward thee openly.5 “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.
This time of self Reflection by way of your personal relationship with The Holy Trinity will produce the spiritual fruit and it's riches seen in every area
of your life. Godly sorrow works repentance, it's this sorrow that leads to renewal
Hebrews 12:14-17 Continually
pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.
15 See to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of resentment springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;
16 and [see to it] that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal.
17 For you know that later on, when he wanted [to regain title to] his inheritance of the blessing,
he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance [there was no way to repair what he had done, no chance to recall the choice he had made], even though he sought for it with [bitter] tears.
2 Corinthians 7:1-14 Paul Reveals His Heart 7 Therefore, since we have these [great and wonderful] promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body
and spirit, completing holiness [living a consecrated life—a life set apart for God’s purpose] in the fear of God.
2 Make room for us in your hearts;
we have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have cheated no one.
3 I do not say this to condemn you, for I have said before that you are [nested] in our hearts [and you will remain there] to die together and to live together [with us].
4 Great is my confidence in you; great is my pride and boasting on your behalf. I am filled [to the brim] with comfort; I am overflowing with joy in spite of all our trouble.
5 For even when we arrived in Macedonia our bodies had no rest, but we were oppressed at every turn—conflicts and disputes without, fears and dread within.
6 But God, who comforts and encourages the depressed and the disquieted, comforted us by the arrival of Titus.
7 And not only by his arrival, but also by [his account of] the encouragement which he received in regard to you.
He told us about your longing [for us], your mourning [over sin], and how eagerly you took my part and supported me, so that I rejoiced
even more.
8 For even though I did grieve you with my [a]letter, I do not regret it [now]; though I did regret it —for I see that the letter hurt you, though only for a little while—
9 yet I am glad now, not because you were hurt and made sorry, but because your sorrow led to repentance [and you turned back to God]; for you felt a grief such as God meant you to feel, so that you might not suffer loss in anything on our account.
10 For [godly] sorrow that is in
accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow [the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe] produces death.
11 For [you can look back and] see what an earnestness and authentic concern this godly sorrow has produced in you: what vindication of yourselves [against charges that you tolerate sin], what indignation [at sin],
what fear [of offending God], what longing [for righteousness and justice], what passion [to do what is right], what readiness to punish [those who sin and those who tolerate sin]! At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in the matter.
12 So even though I wrote to you [as I did], it was not for the sake of the offender nor for the sake of the one offended, but in order to make evident to you before God how earnestly you do care for us [and your willingness to accept our authority]. 13 It is for this reason that we are comforted and encouraged.
And in addition to our comfort, we were especially delighted at the joy of Titus, because you have refreshed his spirit. 14 For if I have boasted to him at all concerning you,
I was not disappointed. But just as everything we ever said to you was true, so our boasting [about you] to Titus has proved true also.
It will be for the Elect sake that Father, God that those days will be given grace. Matthew 24:1-21 Signs of Christ’s Return: Jesus left the temple area
and was going on His way when His disciples came up to Him to call His attention to the [magnificent and massive] [a]buildings of the temple.
2 And He said to them, “Do you see all these things? I assure you and most solemnly say to you, not one stone here will be left on another, which will not be torn down.”
3 While Jesus was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, and said, “Tell us, when will this [destruction of the temple] take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end (completion, consummation) of the age?”
4 Jesus answered, “Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]. 5 For many will come in My name [misusing it,
and appropriating the strength of the name which belongs to Me], saying, ‘I am the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed),’ and they will mislead many.
6 You will continually hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end [of the age].
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish and the time of unprecedented trouble].
9 “Then they will hand you over to [endure] tribulation, and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
10 At that time many will be offended and repelled [by their association with Me] and will fall away [from the One whom they should trust]
and will betray one another [handing over believers to their persecutors] and will hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will appear and mislead many.
12 Because lawlessness is increased,
the love of most people will grow cold.
13 But the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved.
14 This good news of the kingdom [the gospel] will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end [of the age] will come.
Perilous Times 15 “So when you see the [b]abomination of desolation [the appalling sacrilege that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place (let the [c]reader understand),
16 then let those who are in Judea
flee to the mountains [for refuge].
17 Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things that are in his house [because there will not be enough time].
18 Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his coat. 19 And woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
20 Pray that your flight [from persecution and suffering] will not be in winter, or on a Sabbath [when Jewish laws prohibit travel].
21 For [d]at that time there will be a great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will [again].
22 And if those days [of tribulation] had not been cut short, no human life would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (God’s chosen ones) those days will be shortened.
The Earnest expectation of a lost generation and the creature cries out to be free waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:18-26 For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and
in us!
19 For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed.
20 For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope
21 that the creation itself will also be freed from its bo***ge to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now.
23 And not only this, but we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit [a joyful indication of the blessings to come], even we groan inwardly, as we wait eagerly for [the sign of] our adoption as sons—the redemption and transformation of our body [at the resurrection].
24 For in this hope we were saved [by faith]. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure.
Our Victory in Christ 26 In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness.
We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words.
May The Lord grant you renewal, upon your Repentance in his Sobriety
