Over the years I've edited many shows by hosts that say they want to better the world & help people. Few are actually doing that better than Dr. Alfiee with her show, Couched in Color with Dr. Alfiee - Video Podcast.

As part of my work with Social Chameleon, I've been editing the current season of the podcast. I just wanted to take a moment to recommend her podcast to everyone and express how much I appreciate being involved with the show, even if indirectly. I'll include links in the comments, check them out.

Curious what an audio edit looks like? This is a standard interview format episode I edited recently. 30 minutes long. Roughly 688 edits. Ideally, the listener never notices a single one. The only thing the listener notices is how confident and well-spoken the guest and host sound. 😉

People have odd misconceptions about editing podcasts. Detailed edits do not make a conversation sound robotic 🤖. That's a result of poorly edited conversations. It's all about timing, rhythm, and listening to speech inflection.
