🚨 Bluegrass Crime Stoppers CRIME OF THE WEEK:
Wallet stolen from Richmond Road Motel
Can you #identify this man? We know the photos aren't great, but they are the only thing we have to try and get this crime solved. On a rainy January 12, cameras capture a man walking past a motel room door. Detectives believe he may have noticed that the door was open or unlocked, so he walks past the room but then comes back and goes inside where police say he stole a #wallet. The victim reports that the credit cards were used at two places following the theft.
If you know who this man is, Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,500 #cash reward in exchange for the information. Remember, the tip line is 100% #ANONYMOUS and your identity cannot be traced. All you have to do is call 859-253-2020 or go online to p3tips.com.

Lexington Police say a marketplace meetup in a public parking lot turned into a criminal investigation when the "buyer" ran off with the victim's item without paying. Computer theft
🚨 CRIME OF THE WEEK: Brazen thief/robbery suspect caught on #Tesla camera
Earlier this week, WKYT reported that a #Lexington small business owner had a computer stolen from him during a meetup in a public parking lot where the man intended to sell it.
Now, Lexington Police say the man captured on the victim's car camera, is the same man behind two other recent crimes- a theft on Walden Drive and a robbery on Tiverton Way, where the suspect pulled a handgun before running off with the victim's property.
Detectives say, it appears the suspect contacted all three victims through an online marketplace and arranged to meet to purchase items. The suspect used the same online profile to communicate with the victims, and both victims gave similar descriptions of the suspect.
🗣 If you know who he is, Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,500 cash reward for your ANONYMOUS information. Just call the tip line at 859-253-2020 or go online to p3tips.com.

Mike Tackett, who manages the store, tells me the robbers followed him from a bank on Richmond Road. He was carrying cash to stock the registers AND pay bonuses to his employees who went above and beyond when the wind storm knocked out power to the restaurant for a week. Not only does the restaurant lose out, so does Mike and his hard working employees. Please call the Bluegrass Crime Stoppers tip line if you know anything about this crime. We will pay up to $1,500 CASH for your ANONYMOUS information.

🚨 Two Lexington Police officers hurt while arresting a Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Wanted Person
Officers are tough. They're hesitant to share their stories because they encounter stuff like this everyday. But, I wanted to publicly thank him and the police department for letting me share this story about the dangers our officers face. Lexington Police and Crime Stoppers had been looking for this man since 2020. We ran a story on Robeon Downs in February with no luck. But, someone out there saw it. Someone out there did the right thing and called the Crime Stoppers tip line and gave us the exact location of where Downs was. And, while he is now in custody, it was a rough day for the officers who helped make that happen.
To these two men...and all the other officers who suit up everyday to keep watch over our communities...THANK YOU. You don't hear it enough.
CRIME STOPPERS: The murder of Armond Lukes

**UPDATE #2: We sent @DanielleFOX56 over to the gas station where they told her the $5.29 was a “mistake” and they’ve reset the pumps and the sign to $4.29.
They’re offering a refund to my buddy.
==================
**UPDATE: Got ahold of an assistant manager at the gas station who said $5.29 is the NEW price of gas. She told me that the price jumped $1.10 “about 2 hours ago” and they can’t get their sign to update. She’s added paper notices to the pumps to alert drivers.**
==================
BEWARE AT THE PUMP 👀
A buddy just sent me this. Happened at the #Marathon station on Clays Mill in Lexington.
He says when he went inside to complain, the employee said they couldn’t fix it.
We’re making calls…
Anyone else experiencing this?
